About Us....
Hello,
My name is Marissa Newman, I am lead designer and
owner of Be Jeweled. Be Jeweled is a family run business.
My youngest daughter, Shanley inspired me to start beading
when she was a small girl and has literally grown up
with our company. Little did she know what getting me
started with a few simple beads would lead to… I love
to incorporate many techniques into one piece. Wire
wrapping, seed bead artistry, polymer clay artistry
are my favorites but that list seems to keep growing
as I do as an artist.
My husband, Troy Newman has recently joined in
on the fun by creating his own line of men's jewelry.
Troy started out in ceramic arts and uses that background
to assist in creating our unique clay beads and pendants.
He is also our resident chain maille artist and frequently
collaborates with me on designs.
Shanley who is now 13 is already becoming skilled
at working with wire and creating her own designs. We
have 3 other children. Two have grown up and started
their own lives.
At Be Jeweled our desire is to know that our customers
are purchasing one of kind artisan jewelry of outstanding
